Uncharted Territory

A women in one of my groups was shocked when I said that I felt insecure. She was baffled and felt this statement was an oxymoron. How can you teach us and guide us with such wisdom and be insecure?
It is one thing to be afraid and insecure because of the demons of our past that haunt us and dictate a future of more of the same old, same old. Those unresolved issues and ways of moving in the world that are a hinderance, reacting to life out of old down loaded patterns. These do illicit insecurity and when insecure we don’t feel confident, assured, feeling uncertain, anxious and unsafe.  However, those aspects of our lives that we have let go, forgiven and healed becomes our wisdom.
When we live on the edge of life, as we travel uncharted territory and allow our soul to guide us as we forge new frontiers for ourselves, there is a sense of uncertainty. With this uncertainty comes fear and insecurity. It is this kind of insecurity I spoke of.
Acknowledging our insecurity and uncertainty encourages us to experiment, and we are transformed by our experiments. We are free not to know the answer, we are free to change our position, we are free not to have a position. And we learn to reframe our problems … Once we discover the power of challenging the assumptions in our old questions, we can foster our own paradigm shifts.
December 21, 2012, we are moving out of a dark, violent age of Pisces, and into the Age of Aquarius, into uncharted territory. This date marks the beginning of a new cycle, a millennium of love and light.  Aquarius is a revolution in consciousness, and the mind's true liberation to leave the prison of our conditioning, to love, to turn homeward. To conspire with each other and for each other.
Most of us have been freed from any “real struggle” to survive, and we are given the time and opportunity to look within, to explore the psyche. Individually and collectively we are moving into uncharted territory. Freedom requires uncertainty, because we must be free to change, modify, assimilate new information as we go along. Uncertainty and insecurity is the necessary companion of all explorers.

”Aquarian Conspiracy”
“Paradoxically, if we give up the need for certainty in terms of control and fixed answers, we are compensated by a different kind of certainty - a direction, not a fact. We begin to trust intuition, whole brain knowing, what scientist-philosopher Michael Polanyi called “tacit” knowing. As we become attuned to the inner signals, they seem stronger. Intuition...becomes a trusted partner in everyday life, available to guide even minor decisions, generating and even more pervasive sense of flow and rightness”

The Ceremony of Sending Love and Gratitude to Water will be held in Fukushima on July 25 this year. Many of you might know that Mayan calendar has 13 months in a year. 28 days makes one month, so 365 divided by 28 days equal 13 months plus 1 day. This last day is designated as New Year’s Eve, and is called the Day Out of Time. On this special day, people in olden time woke up with sunrise, offered their gratitude to nature, prayed for good harvest, and prayed for the well being of their family and tribal people. Mayan New Year starts on July 26 in our modern day calendar. Therefore, New Year’s Eve which is July 25 was the day for prayer and celebration

 What Was Once Real

Reality comes to us in many layers, we may limit our exposure to other realities, or expand and be open to the experience of these other realities. To start, each of us has our own unique experiences that happen in our minds which we define as our map of reality, these include family dynamics, family systems, roles and gender, religion, nationality, politics, resources, money, education, medicine, technology, etc.
Next, we have a map of reality we call USA, which include some or all of our map, and hold elements which we may experience and perceive as different. How expansive this map is for us and how much we wish to explore is personal. Conflict may arise in discovering differences between ourselves and others. These fears or confusions illicit and bring forth judgement, stress, and worry, and in turn the uncomfort in these differences cause us want to make others “wrong”. Our distorted perception of reality is evident in the world today.
Following is the Universe, here we find more contrast of reality through other cultures, religions, ancient teachings, etc. Some of which may be part of our reality, others not. Albert Einstein, 1954 said, “A human being is part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty… The true value of a human being is determined primarily by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self. … We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive.”
Then, we look to science and new thinkers to define the bigger picture for us, especially when our personal map does not answer the following questions: Who are we? Where did we come from? What is our purpose? Where do we go from here?  There are many branches of science that attempt to answer these questions, such as, Theory of Everything, String Theory (11 dimensions), Quantum Physics, Holographic Universe, and Parallel Universes. On top of this, Science tells us that all realities that appear as real, are a “trick”, and nothing more than an illusion. Some people postulate that all that we call reality is only taking place in the Mind Of God/ Source/ Infinite Intelligence.
Another perspective on “reality” came for me from a one year contemporary walk-about I did in Australia where I spent time with several Aboriginal tribes. They speak of the “Dreaming", the time of creation which is beyond what they experience as reality. "The Dreaming" laid down the patterns of life for the Aboriginal people and their stories cover many themes and topics of this complex network of knowledge and faith, and pervades and informs all spiritual and physical aspects of an indigenous Australian's life. They believe that every person essentially exists eternally in the “Dreaming”. This eternal part existed before the life of the individual begins, and continues to exist when the life of the individual ends.
Ekhart Tolle in his book, New Earth, says “to awaken within the dream is our purpose now. When we are awake within the dream, the ego-created earth-drama comes to an end and a more benign and wondrous dream arises”.
The “Course in Miracles”, which has been one of the most widely read metaphysical books over the last 30 years, is based on the premise that this life is an illusion of a soul who has become disconnected from their Source. When you become disconnected, or lost in this dream, you see a world that is frightening and fearful. When you feel connected to Source, you see a world that is beautiful, safe and friendly. Every human being carries within them the divine spark of a sleeping god, and through understanding, compassion and forgiveness, this spark can awaken.
Gregg Braden speaks of the Ancient Lost Texts which teach us that there is only “One” of us here, we are unity by nature, our consciousness is holographic in nature ( a pattern that is whole and complete unto itself, and, part of an even greater pattern, which, is part of an even greater pattern). We are many expressions individualized of a Unity Consciousness. Any change in the pattern of the hologram you or I make, that one tiny change is mirrored throughout the hologram, this is called Collective Resonance. Every time one person chooses a new way, a new path, a new template, that person becomes a living bridge for all others to follow.

It has been determined through ancient teachings and science that each of us resonate to a certain frequency, call this vibration, or energy, and that the earth also has her frequency, which we can detected through ley lines. Some may doubt that we have such a thing as frequency and might like to know that ...In 1992, Bruce Taino of Taino Technology, an independent division of Eastern State University in Cheny, Washington, built the first frequency monitor in the world. Taino has determined that the average frequency of a healthy human body during the day time is 62 to 68 Hz. When the frequency drops, the immune system is compromised. If the frequency drops to 58 Hz, cold and flu symptoms appear; at 55 Hz, diseases like Candida take hold; at 52 Hz, Epstein Bar and at 42 Hz, Cancer. Taino's machine was certified as 100 percent accurate and is currently being used in the agricultural field today.
When I look out at the universe I see much change in all systems, human or other wise. What was once real to me and many others has shifted. The very systems that we could once trust are no longer functioning in a way that appears to support life. In the recorded past, systems of each age broken down to make room for the new. Example, as we moved out of the age of Aries, Moses freed those enslaved by the Ruling Elite. This shifted the Arian reality and as a collective, conscious shifted with it. This ushered in the age of Pisces which we are in today. Many across the Globe are feeing a shift, and at the same time experiencing their frequencies, bodies, emotions and mind changing to accommodate this shift in reality.
I believe that as a Collective Consciousness in this participatory universe we are on the threshold of a new world, we are coming out of an old paradigm of polarity of hate, judgement, and war. This shift that we are all experiencing is telling us that it is time to choose peace, forgiveness, compassion and love. We must see ourselves as part of the whole world rather than separate from it. All people on earth are playing out their agreed upon role as we come closer to the new age of Aquarius and a new “Real”.

Sacrificial Lamb

She came to her appointment early that day, distraught and overwhelmed by the flood of emotions she was feeling. The day before her appointment she had a conversation with a friend who reported that before his open heart surgery he had to bath himself in a disinfectant soap so as to avoid any bacterial exposure during the surgery. He said that he felt that he was preparing himself to be sacrificed.
It was those words that triggered a flood gate of memories. All the coping skills she had used to repress those years went a way in an instant. She was raw, exposed and vulnerable as she began to report her memories.
At the age of two she was designated by her family to be the “Sacrificial Lamb”.  Her mother unhappy in the marriage took on a lover and was gone three nights a week. This left my client alone with her father. The molesting started at age two and continued until she was seven. Then it stopped abruptly, her father then became cold, detached and unemotional toward her.  As a child, she thought she was to blame for the abuse. She felt that the abuse was punishment for something she did wrong. How could she think other wise, he was supposed to be her protector, he was god in her eyes. No matter how wrong the molesting was, how she hated it, what was worse with his detachment.
As she grew older and as a result of the abuse and detachment, she felt that she had to put the needs of others above her own by being protective of others, and becoming over-responsible. She quickly learned that in sacrificing herself, by becoming the “strong” responsible one, playing the role of the mother and caretaker she would receive kudos. Although this was not the love and protection she had hoped for, it was better than nothing. Someone had to take care of and raise her three younger sisters, her mother was rarely available and her father was emotionally absent. Once her sisters were old enough she left home at the age of 21 and never looked back until that one day.
She felt the powerlessness and anger of her childhood, anger at herself for not being able to stop the abuse, anger and resentment toward her father and angry she did not have anyone to protect her. As a survivor of child abuse and coming from a dysfunctional family, she spent her whole life waiting for love and acceptance she never got as a child. The kind of love she needed wasn’t going to come from her family.
Weeks later as she continued to process her memories she said that her grief had shifted and was more about how she had lived her life because of the messages that she told herself about those early years. She was angry because all the years following the molesting she continued to be a sacrifice in all her relationships personal and professional.
She learned her values early in life. These values extended into her adult life and created the ‘compass’ which she used to navigate through the various trials and tribulations life had to offer. Her self-esteem reflected her overall evaluation and appraisal of her own worth. Because her trust was betrayed, it was difficult for her to trust in herself. She had problems asserting herself, and it was not safe to be competitive, to shine, or stand out.
Self-esteem is a child's passport to a lifetime of mental, emotional and social happiness. It's the foundation of a child's well-being and the key to success as an adult. Self-image is how we perceive ourselves. When she looks inside herself and is comfortable with the person she sees, makes all the difference in the world.  Self-esteem comes when we see the  self as being someone who can make things happen and who is worthy of love. Parents are the main source of a child's sense of self-worth.
In an attempt to feel valued  and worthy she went to collage and received several degrees. Still little change happened in the way people responded to her. She was a good loyal employee, hard working, reliable, and yet her net worth never reflected this. It seemed strange to her that her unworthiness issues would spill over into all aspects of her life.
Most of her life my client felt an underlying guilt and shame that persisted into her adult life and she did not know why. The guilt and shame were part of the reason she felt unworthy and not valued. She never felt good enough, to compensate for this she spent her life trying to over come this by giving more of herself. Often times carrying the load of two people.

Over the months of working together she began to make sense of her life. She understood as a spiritual person that she had created all the dynamics of her life and experiences for a reason. She was not yet clear what these reasons were, but she knew she had to make peace with her life. It was the “right” time for those repressed memories to unfold. It was the “right” time to see the gifts that came from them. It was also the “right” time to forgive it all.

It's not easy to let old, critical voices and messages that we heard as a child play over and over in our minds, without stopping them. Often we may barely recognize that they are there, or we don't really listen to them, we've heard them so often -- but they continue to impact how we feel and think about ourselves.
Our values may change a bit during life but I believe the core values you learn as a child stay with you for the rest of your life.

The way back to her “true” self was by connecting to that little child inside, that child who deserves all of her love and acceptance.
It can be hard to give it to yourself at first -- after all, if you didn't receive love as a child, or if some of that love was taken away from you by abuse, self-hate may have built up inside you. I knew she had the courage and strength to love herself, if she survived this long. After all she does deserve it!

I encouraged her to start noticing the next time she heard the voice inside her head criticizing her. To become aware of what is being said to her, and try to talk to it. Ask it why it feels it needs to say those things. Is that part of you trying to protect you, in some child-like logic? Or perhaps that part of you felt it had to take on the messages you heard as a child. Remind that part of you that you no longer need to do that to survive. You are free to make up your own mind about yourself.
In time she saw how those early experiences were the driving impetus to make sense of her life and the unfolding of her life work of service. In our closing session she told me that because of our time together she had come to realize that her life was a path of “Sacred Service”, and those early years taught her compassion and understanding. Who better than she to help others navigate their lives.

Nothing Real Can Be Threatened

It seemed that over night she had lost her ability to navigate her life, to nourish herself or others. She understood that this was a time of great change and transformation and that she, as with many others had outlived that which no longer benefited or was useful in their lives. Most unnerving for her was that her thinking mind began to loose its foothold in what it thought was real.
Today, she sits and reflects upon her life, recalling a decade or so ago, when she responded to her inner promptings, she willingly left her tribe, country, all her possessions, all that she identified as the self, and set out on a Spiritual Quest to a foreign land. Each step of her journey she could feel herself letting go of another layer of what was not her, in order to reveal more of her true spiritual self.
This time, this spiritual awakening was different, this time the unknown seemed more forbidding. This time her body was speaking to her in ways she had not know before.
Her physical body was changing, at times she experienced unusual tiredness, other times with burst of high energy, then there was the constant ringing in her ears, weight gain, and food sensitivities. The list goes on and on. If that were not enough, her joyful moods were changing, with seemingly unprovoked or excessive episodes of grief, fear, and insecurity, while her body scrambled for something familiar, comfortable and known. On top of it all old charged memories and pictures began to rise to the surface again, as though she had never addressed them before.
Life felt meaningless, mundane, and empty. She felt guarded and when she sought to move away from this hypersensitive place she was in, this life she desired to escape stuck to her with a magnetic force. It didn’t matter what she tried to avoid, it faced her at every turn.
Once again it was a time of letting go of control, and of radical trust, it was not easy then and it was not easy now. Fear causes the mind to turn to thoughts of, worry and doubt and the body follows suit with fear, sadness and anger. She had to release her resistance to this change, it had persisted to long.
The only way through this awakening process was to move into a state of acceptance and allowing, instead of resisting and struggling. The whole universe was waking up to itself and she was a part of that process. If she holds on to old ways of being, thinking and doing, she will continue to experience the effects of resistance, struggle, chaos, and suffering.
She had to trust that her higher self would guide her through this vulnerable inner terrain as she let go of her old self and birthed her true godself. A soothing remembrance rushed over, she remembered reading in the “Course in Miracles” many years earlier, “Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.”

Conspire or Inspire

Conspire -  illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
Inspire -  affect, guide, or arouse by divine influence.
It is of value to me to know about the world I live in, after all I am a seeker after “truth”. The internet certainly is a forum for information. I support being aware of what is being touted. Saying that, it is not always easy to tell fact from fiction. I have come to know that within every belief there is the possibility of a lie. Because I have read and heard much talk of various conspiracy theories, I felt compelled to explore and report a few. There are lots  of folks on the internet who go into greater detail with this regard.
Since 9/11 fear is abounding in expectation of another terrorists attack or worse. The fear of illness or death caused by pharmaceuticals, hormone injected beef, and contaminated food and water. Then there is the taking over the Movie Industry, the Record Companies and Fine Arts, and TV "entertainment”.  Hard to find much these days in entertainment that is other than crime, violence, war and destruction. These continuos air waves that instill fear, a sense of powerlessness, hopelessness, feeding our minds with negative data, and lack and limitation. Then there's the influence that modern music has on our children that promotes darkness, which is not uplifting nor does it foster love, light and compassion as its end product.
Sunday April 10, 2011, the History Channel, aired a 2009 documentary, “Thats Impossible, Weather Warfare” which addressed and confirmed the following. Chemtrails left by aircraft are actually chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed at high altitudes for a purpose undisclosed to the general public in clandestine programs directed by government officials.  High Altitude Research Project, H.A.R.P. created to cause tsunamis, earth quakes, and has the ability to change weather patterns.
It does seem to be a a very corrupt world we live in and I can’t help but want to pay closer attention. Why and how has our world become so corrupted? The how as mentioned above. The why, a drive for power, money and control over life and death by those playing God. The who, is reported to be 13 Elite Illuminati blood lines that are said to rule the world. The names listed are those most visible, however they may just be a diversion away from the real power.
Astor                         Bundy          Collins                      DuPont
Freeman                   Kennedy        Li                              Onasis
Reynolds                Rockefeller   Rothschild            Russell    Van Duyn
Merovingian (European Royal families)  Mormon and the Moriah Leaders
Interconnected bloodlines:   Disney           Krupp       McDonald
Yes, our world is breaking down as we know it. If we meditate on this, we arrive at the conclusion that the times of the end have arrived, that we are in them...this world is changing whether we want it to or not. Universally we are all invited to awaken and transform ourselves and this world.  I trust that in order to awaken and get to the “truth”, all that is not love comes forth for release and healing so that we may truly know who we are.
So if these conspiracies are true, one thing for sure, the FEAR they elicit paralysis us if we let it. Fear choices are coming at us in all directions, are we victims in all this? Do we have any power over our own lives? Yes! Yes!
To bring about true social change we must first begin by changing ourselves by dissolving the negative elements found within our psyche and create the inner virtues that are necessary to live in harmony with nature and the rest of humanity. We must consciously work towards this goal, even if others choose not to do so. We must take our spiritual power back, we must ask ourselves, "Am I a leader or follower?”
More now than ever we must go within to really know ourselves, to evaluate and witness the inner workings of our heart, to learn the language of our intuition. It is time to reflect upon where we have been, to ask ourselves, “what in the world has more value than you”?  It is time to make heart felt clearer choices as to where we are moving.  Nothing lasting is in the outer world, all that is of value is inside each of us. It is a time to seek that which is inspiring within us and without.
I feel that all of us are at a crossroads as we move closer to 2025, the time of Aquarius. Throughout the world many people have differing views of what this age will bring, for sure Aquarius is an eminently revolutionary sign, and its occult significance is knowledge, ( to know). The constellation of Aquarius is governed by the planet Uranus, which is a revolutionary planet.  Perhaps in this new age we will see a time of synthesis of all authentic religions and systems of self-realization. Perhaps disagreements between science and religion will come to an end, and people will begin to comprehend that both spirit and matter are derived from the same source, and are only modifications of the One Universal Energy. Perhaps the Age of Aquarius will bring marvelous breakthroughs in many scientific disciplines, including physics, chemistry, astronomy, medicine, aviation, etc. Perhaps it will be a time of Brotherly / Sisterly love, where we honor individual and unique expression of the Divine.

Fear Of Success

In these exciting times of transformation each of us in our own way are being asked to awaken to who we truly are, to step into our power, and to fulfill our mission on earth. What if our hidden fear in pulling this off is about our fear of success, not failure, but success?
What if as a child those important to us convinced us ( knowingly or unknowingly) that we weren’t very smart, or competent, or likable, or that nothing we did was ever quite good enough, and this distorted our real sense of self. Then we grew to believe that we were not capable of doing well in life or that we did not deserve to do well.
What if we held a childhood belief that who we were was never enough, that in order to be enough we must live up to others' expectations of us. What if we are where we are today because of those expectations.
Do you still hear your tribe ( family/community/ identity) saying,  Who do you think you are? What do you think you are better than us?
Few things cause more fear of success than a sense that if we follow our dreams, we will betray the people who love us, and more profoundly, loose their love. Further, our deeper unconscious terrors of lose of community and possible isolation can stop us in our tracks.
We can't imagine how to free ourselves except by messing up. So consciously or unconsciously we provoke self-defeating sabotaging behavior. Even when we pursue our ambitions we have an underly fear.  What will happen if I succeed? Some cultural archetypes equate success with isolation and are so persuasive that in some highly accomplished people they become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
There is another layer to the fear of success. Many of us have been conditioned to believe that the road to success involves risks, disappointment, competition and envy.
In order to have a healthy relationship with success we must accept that everyone at some time has been afraid. What we are feeling is no different that anyone else. Know that it is time to figure out what our dreams are for ourselves. Once we have figured out what we want to do, we can put a plan together to achieve it. We all need to start somewhere. Just start dreaming, and however big or small, they are good enough.
Do what makes you happy. Only you can define success for yourself. Here are a few questions to ask yourself along the way.
1) What do you think will happen if you achieve success ?
2) In what ways do you feel undeserving of success?
3) Who are you afraid of hurting or intimidating if you achieve success?
4) In what ways do you self-destruct achievement and success ?
5) How can you improve your self-talk to assist you in achieving your goals?
The only way we can count our life as truly successful is if we are doing what we were meant to do, regardless of what society at large thinks of it. When we follow our dreams and are successful we change the whole world for all time.

Personal and Professional Friendships

Personal friends are very special people in our lives. They are the ones we like, love, know and trust. They are the ones who know us best. They are the first people we think about when we make plans. They are the first people we go to when we need someone to talk to. We will phone them up just to talk about nothing, or the most important things in our life. When we are sad they will try their hardest to cheer us up. They give the best hugs in the world! They are the shoulder to cry on, because we know that they truly care about us. They are the ones who know our deepest fears, and insecurities. They support, sympathize and love us on our journey to becoming. These relationships are personal and close to our heart.
Professional friends are those we offer intimate services for a fee.  A Professional friend connects with the client in a deeply personal way.  A Professional Friend can be a counselor, therapist, consultant, coach, healer, etc.
In every healthy relationship there is a give and take.  In a professional situation, a Professional friend gives up focus on themselves to focus their attention on the other, their wants, needs, and desires in return for a fee. The form of payment with a Professional friend is usually money.  With a personal friend, we help them with their problems and in return they help us with ours.
Those of us in the healing and teaching fields chose this profession because it is a calling to serve humanity through these modalities. In our profession we draw from many years of personal and professional experiences. We do this services because we love life and deeply want to help.
Those we serve allow us into their private world, they trust us and feel safe with us. They value our genuine caring, our contribution to life, and they feel good in our presence. They sense a bond and friendship that has developed between us. This is healthy, and helps to facilitate healing.
However, after awhile many clients want to know the professional on a personal basis. They want to hang out with them, they want a personal friendship. While the professional genuinely cares about your well-being and growth, they get paid to focus on you.  If you paid them and they focused on their needs, wants, and desires you probably wouldn’t want to pay them because the relationship would feel out of balanced.
It is my belief that to cross or blur those boundaries  between personal and professional friendships does not serve either parties in the long run.

I don’t need anything

She had an amazing breakthrough, the answer was long in coming, but here it was right in front of her. How could she not have seen this, how could she not know? Over the years she questioned, “what am I doing to block energy, why were my exchanges so unequal, especially financially?”
She watched her friends and family, they didn’t seem to be challenged in this area. She could not accept that this was her destiny, because if it was why was she still pursuing an understanding.
In reflecting back over her life she learned to be independent, strong, responsible, reliable, dependable, and a good worker, out of survival necessity. These were good qualities, weren’t they?
She cared about people and in her sensitivities to others needs and pain she learned to give of herself freely. It took a long time but over time she noticed the more she did or gave the more was asked of her. This inequality of her giving and receiving was puzzling, was she not good enough, did she not deserve, did she not have value. She tried all the harder and gave, and gave even more, until one day in a long drawn out illness, when she could no longer give to others.  All her focus and energy  was now on healing herself.  During this time it came to her that all those years people were responding to an unconscious message she was projecting, “ I don’t need anything”. How did this happen?
Yes, she was self sufficient since childhood, she had to be, she could only rely on herself to get her needs met. Early on it became clear to her that love and kudos came to her for a job well done. Others came first, she became a good little caretaker.
This awakening of this hidden belief was profoundly freeing to her. The opposite was true, she really needed many things from life. Now she understood why they  did not come.
She had read that when humans speak only 10% of what is communicated is verbal the other 90% is nonverbal. What power the unspoken word wields. Today, I am happy to report the exchange of energy she gives and receives is dramatically improved.
I guess if she could talk to you herself, her question might be ,“ what are you communicating non-verbally ?

What’s Love Got to Do With It?

When life gives us experiences and challenges that we feel ill equipped to handle we often spiral into negative thought patterns which create a self critical path in our brain. These thoughts running through our conscious mind with sufficient emotional force enters our subconscious as a “truth”. Some of these may be, I am not good enough, I am not valued, I am not loved, I don’t deserve, I am damaged. I did something wrong, I must be punished, and on and on. If not checked can lead to a life of depression, despair and more.
This deep path, trodden for many years causes us to feel very insecure, vulnerable and unloved. To compensate we try to make up for these so called flaws by giving and doing for others, thus loose our sense of self, making us feel stifled and uncomfortable. We spend far too much of our time worrying about what other people want and think. By neglecting to develop self love and inner happiness, it puts us in the vulnerable position of needing all our love and happiness to come from others.
By focusing our energy outward, and then expecting that someone else should be filling the void created by our neglect in developing strong self love, we put ourselves in a position of powerlessness. Besides, It is not our job to make others happy, it is actually impossible.Waiting for someone else to give us what we need to feel validated, happy, loved, and fulfilled is a sure recipe for frustration.

The way back to our selves is love. Loving that which we perceive as unlovable and unacceptable within us. What’s love got to do with it? Everything! To experience real self love, we need to create our own sense of well-being, and learn to honor and value ourselves in our thoughts, our words, and importantly, our actions.

What gives any belief its power is no more and no less than our belief in it. We often don’t give ourselves credit for our courage to endure the suffering, challenge and to move through it, and most of all to survive it.
In this radicle time of change many of us are awakening to the fact that its important to love ourselves. This is the only thing we have any control over amidst all the transformation, systems breaking down, as life seems to be falling apart.
We know it is time to heal, to let go that which no longer serves, to forgive others, and love ourselves. But, we often get stuck on how to love ourselves?   And if we knew how to love ourselves, how do we continue the practice?  Self-love is appreciating who we are,no matter what we have experienced or done. We must learn to feel good about ourselves, directing loving thoughts inward, and being good to ourself through actions. Love is not something we give or get; it is something that we nurture and grow.
We cultivate love by allowing our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known. Honoring the spiritual connection that grows from that suffering with trust, respect, kindness and affection. To gain positive results in our lives, our actions have to match our desires. Action is the fuel that drives us in the direction we want to go. Without fuel, we drift, and if we are using the wrong kind of fuel (actions that are taking us away from where we want to go) we end up either powering off in the wrong direction or creating a malfunction in our lives. This type of malfunction can show up as illness, depression, or a whole range of unpleasant emotions. If we are continuously taking actions that go against what we truly want, we can expect results that we are less than thrilled with.
I know that we are not our experiences, we simply had these experiences. Every life, because we were born, has a right to be here, and there is a calling for our lives.  It is soothing for me to look at life as The Source having a human experience.
How do we deal with all the changes,  live life without fear and know that no matter what happens, no matter what happens, we are going to be all right. We are going to be all right. It is about having an open heart, being able to openly receive the possibility of all that is. We must decide today to make our happiness and development of practical self love a priority.

The Power of Uranus

For several weeks I had been on edge, antsy, and agitated. It felt like an earthquake was about to happen inside me.Then on March 11th a massive earthquake hit Japan. Ironically that same day the planet Uranus transited into Aries. Following that I had a major anxiety/panic attack lasting two days.
The planet Uranus impacts the nervous system, and all things electrical, which includes the body's bio-electromagnetic subtle energy system. When transiting Uranus triggers any one of numerous factors in an astrological chart -- other planets, house cusps, etc --- it can manifest in an individual's daily life as the experience of anxiety. Thus the effect on my nervous system.
The influence of Uranus is revealed through innovations, break-throughs, shifts in perception, sudden turns, rebellion, independence, invention, surprises, liberation, disruption, awakening, and yes, earthquakes.
Uranus plays an important role as the provocateur, the bringer of the cosmic wake-up call for both individuals and the collective as a whole. Just when we relax into our comfortable, stable lives, Uranus disrupts the scene. It can be through an event that happens to us, or self-initiated acts spurned on by a desire for change.
With Uranus moving into Aries until 2018, we will be placed on a new stage that is set to shift a generation of events. It is this shift of Uranus into Aries that activates a new phase of our Life Journey as changes reveal our “True Self”.
Aries is the beginning of the zodiac and thus provides the seeds of self expression, motives, and ethics that determine the response and "karma" of reaping the seeds that are sown. If there are issues that require adjustments or disclosures before this can happen, Uranus will bring total perspective of the inner and outer workings of situations to facilitate this revealing process.
Usually Uranus assesses and reviews the seven-year events that occurred while Uranus was moving through the previous sign (Pisces from 2003 - 2010) that determines the seeds planted and the reflected events that are now ready to reveal the appropriate harvest. Uranus in Pisces prompts many delusional events that when Uranus moves into Aries, reality will hit hard.
This is a time of "finding yourself", when you begin to feel uncomfortable with your current life path and behavior patterns. Your ego is awakened, and you feel compelled to express yourself in unique and perhaps unusual or unconventional ways. With your increased openness to all that is new and different, you may encounter opportunities that appear to come out of the blue. Routine begins to bore you, and your current responsibilities may seem overwhelming. Your consciousness expands to the point where you are receptive to new ways of thinking and patterns of living. Especially if you are female, you may begin a relationship with a male, and this association leads you into undiscovered territory or some kind of break from your past. This can be an exciting period of your life that is filled with change and stimulation. You might begin or end relationships, start a new career path, or move to a new location.
So, what does that mean to me. First I am an Aries, so this transit will affect my life and all other Aries personally in a major way over the next seven years. Aries are those born (March 21 to April 20) Aries Traits: Adventurous and energetic-Pioneering and courageous-Enthusiastic and confident-Dynamic and quick-witted.
The Sun in Aries gives the will free rein to express itself. This could be done in the form of some leadership role, or by encouraging and inspiring others to look at themselves in a new way. This could also be accomplished by knowingly carrying out a deliberate act in the name of some cause.
During the next seven years be mindful that Aries governs the head and brain, and Arians are said to be prone to headaches, particularly migraines, sunstroke, neuralgia and depression. Indigestion and nervous disorders are also threats to you, and your rashness, impetuosity and wholesale physical commitment make you liable to accidents and physical injuries.
More clues to the nature of the potential changes can be found in the conditions in your natal chart--its house position, aspects, and the areas of the chart that it rules.
If you are interested in finding out how this transit will effect you go to my web site to schedule an appointment.

Gonna Let My Little Light Shine

I believe that we should always reach for life, and that which is life giving no matter what. In saying that, I also know there is a time to let go of life. These last few weeks have been a blessing and painful. Helen my mother-in-law passed over February 7, 2011. She lived a full 90 years and touched many lives as she journeyed through her life. For an outsider it might have looked like an ordinary life, but up close there were many extraordinary moments, some of them beautiful and others deeply soul wrenching. Through it all she choose to reach for life here on this plane, and then, when it was time to leave she reached for life on the other side into the calling of her new journey. Her passing was graceful and peaceful as she gently surrendered.
To be in the dying process with another is an amazing experience, one that I feel honored to participate in. As I watched Helen letting go I recognized that it was also my time to let go, to release an old pattern I had been in-prisoned by for most of my life.
So much about ones own life is revealed when we loose someone close to us. Somehow we are invited to look deeper into the mystery of our own life, and what we could not see before, is now revealed with such sharp clarity. Through the dying process with Helen I was able to see with 20/20 vision aspects of myself that were hidden. I was able to know with certainty that one piece of my life that had been out of reach for me for so long had now been reveled and healed.
For those of you who have read my book “Memoirs of a Mystic” know about the wounds and betrayal I experienced at a very young age with my father and my mother. Through this early conditioning I learned to shut down my joie-de-vivre and with it my creativity.  Year after year it was reinforced, that who I truly was had to be suppressed, it was not safe to shine. My internal message, “I am afraid to shine, was in conflict with, I don't feel complete unless I shine.”
Over the years I did find many outlets for my joy and creativity but I always stayed under the radar. I had carried with me these wounds throughout my life  feeling that the pain, sadness, and emptiness would never leave me, so, I set out to try to heal the wounds of others instead.
The challenge was that my soul was always restless, calling me, prodding me to reach for life and that which is life giving, to reach for peace, understanding and forgiveness, not of others, for I recognized early on they played a significant role in my life lessons, it was more about forgiveness of myself.  The one thing I most wanted  in my life was to share with the world my many magical experiences, my intuitive knowing, and who I truly am.  It is fascinating to me as one light goes out, Helen’s, another turns on and shines.  February 7th was the day of Helen’s death and the day of my re-birth.
For days I have been hearing in my head this sweet little song I learned as a child. I sing this in Honor of Helen. I love you and I will miss you.
This little light of mine - I’m gonna let it shine
This little light of mine - I’m gonna let it shine
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine
All Around My Neighborhood - I’m gonna let it shine
All Around the world - I’m gonna let it shine
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine
I won’t let no one put it out – I’m gonna let it shine
I won’t let nothing keep it out  - I’m gonna let it shine
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine
Every day, in every way,
I’m gonna let my little light shine.

“Speak Loudly Sweet Soul”

People like us, who believe in psychics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.” ~ Albert Einstein, Theoretical Physicist, Philosopher and Author
As a psychic I have learned to trust and honor what is given to me through my Soul. For each of us the Soul is that which our God Presence uses to express through us. When I listen to the language of my Soul, I am guided and I offer guidance to those who come to me. It has been a most precious gift to me on a personal level.
Einstein is right, we have been living in a persistent illusion. In these radical times of great change, ours is to listen and learn the language of our soul. We must learn to trust our psychic knowing for life as we know it is collapsing. We are being called to awaken out of the illusion, awaken to who we truly are.
As the world changes, our old way of being in the world is likely to be wrongly perceived or interpreted by the senses What we could once trust with our mind, no longer works, we must now listen deeper to our Soul.  When we listen with our mind we feel confused, lost, anxious, fearful, nervous, and depressed. Our Soul only speaks from love, peace, joy and clarity,
These are but a few steps to take each day to hear the language of your Soul.

Meditate 10 minutes a day
Sit in silence
Notice how you feel
Notice your breath
Ask your Soul” are you there”
Trust what you hear
Journal write it down

Many years ago I wrote this poem:

“Speak Loudly Sweet Soul”
In my silence I wait for you
Sometimes patient
Sometimes in turmoil
Precious Soul to touch you
To hear your words of love
Would make this journey oh so clear
The roar - the sound in my head - so loud
Always chatter of a distant past
Of long died dreams
A future not yet come
I’ve tried so hard to get to you
Unraveling old faded dreams
Fears, monsters -Feeling unsafe
Lonely all the time
Venturing to foreign lands
Journeys outside of me
In search of something
I sense you there Sweet Soul
Speak loudly So I can hear
Your language
Speak loudly so I can find
A place to call my own
Speak loudly Sweet Soul
I want to come home

Magic of Numbers and Math

Every number has a certain power which is expressed both by its symbol denoting its representation and by its connection to universal principles. Numbers have relationships with all things in nature, thus making them supremely powerful symbolic expressions.
There are 4 unusual dates this year:
1/1/11, 1/11/11 (both already gone)
11/1/11 and 11/11/11.
For fun try this one.....
Take the last 2 digits of the year you were born plus the age you will be this year and it will equal 111!
Numerical meaning:
111: The number One reflects new beginnings, and purity. The symbolic meaning of number One represents both physical and mental action. When ones re-occur in our lives it indicates a time to take action, and start a new venture.
111= 3: Three deals with magic, intuition, new growth and advantage, expression, versatility, and joy of creativity. Three is also a time identifier as it represents Past, Present and Future. Three typically symbolizes reward and success in most undertakings.

The Zeitgeist Movement

Zeit-geist the defining spirit, awareness or mood of a period of time as shown by the ideas, beliefs and practices of a culture or generation.
Zeitgeist: The Movie is a 2007 documentary film by Peter Joseph. It asserts a number of conspiracy theory-based ideas, including the Christ myth theory, alternative theories for the parties responsible for the September 11th attacksand that bankers manipulate the international monetary system and the media in order to consolidate power.
The film was officially released online on June 18, 2007 on zeitgeistmovie.com.[1] In addition to being characterized as "nonsense",[2] it has been criticized for reported factual inaccuracies, and the quality of its arguments.[3][4][5][6] A sequel, Zeitgeist: Addendum, focuses further on the monetary system and advocates a resource-based social system influenced by the ideas of Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project.[7][8] Following Zeitgeist: Addendum, Peter Joseph created an organization called The Zeitgeist Movement to promote the ideas of Fresco's Venus Project.[9] A third film called Zeitgeist: Moving Forward is scheduled to be released in January 2011. Peter Joseph has stated that its topics will focus on human behavior, technology, and rationality.[10]     From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
