Since early 1980 the numbers 11:11 appeared in my life and have continued on a consistent basis to present day. As we approach November 11, 2011 I felt it relevant to recount with you my findings over the years as to the meaning and significance of 11:11. There has been a stirring deep inside for me, and so many others of something forgotten. I have recognized this symbol as something of significance, yet had been unaware for a time of its true meaning.
The recurrent appearance of 11:11 in my life has been a powerful confirmation that I am on the right track, aligned with my highest Truth. However, one of the major challenges for many of us along the way was to develop confidence in our abilities which is the key to unlock our enormous potential. 11:11 appears as a wake-up call where a direct channel opens up between us and the Invisible. When this happens, it is time to reflect on whatever we are doing and Look Larger.
For all of us this date 11:11:11 is about deepening our awareness to the qualities and meaning the number 11 represents. This number is known as the psychics number, it's the most intuitive of all numbers and it represents illumination and deep insight. The 11 carries a sensitive, charismatic and inspirational vibration. It acts as a channel for information between the higher and the lower. 11’s fulfillment and happiness is about focusing on the bigger picture and spiritual goals.
The appearance of 11:11 is always a beneficial act of Divine Intervention telling us that it is time to take a good look around us and see what is really happening. It is time to pierce the veils of illusion that keep us bound to an unreal world. It is our pathway into the positive unknown and beyond. I believe 11:11 was pre-encoded into our cellular memory long ago and has been dormant within us awaiting the moment of triggering.
With the number 11 the issue is always one of, intuition, sensitivity, awareness, and the presence of knowledge that is not being applied. We must trust our intuition, our gut feelings for they tend to be more reliable than our "rational" understanding.
The following are some of the more accepted challenging traits associated with the number 11: nervous energy, intense fear, unpredictability, unrealistic outlook, lack of discernment, religious dogma, fanaticism, insecurity, hyper-sensitivity, controversial behavior, overly receptive and vulnerable, self-deprecation, low self-worth, health issues, stagnant energy, vacillation, riding the fence, lacking true personal convictions, dual nature, excessive idealism, unrealistic spiritual ideas, complex personality, untamed, wild inspiration, emotional volatility, infamy, extreme behavior, or insanity.
Some of the more positive aspects of number 11 which may cancel out the impact of the challenging aspects are: illumination, inspiration, Divine revelation, spiritual awareness, magnetism, vision, prophetic talent, charm, grace, inventive inspiration, channels and mediums, messengers, metaphysics and holistic healing, humanitarianism,higher dimension.
In Tarot, number 11 is the card Justice. The prime message is that of accountability. The 11 Justice Tarot card seeks to bring about balance through justice. The symbol of the scales on the card itself represent karma - work, action, reaction, and the law of cause and effect.The Justice card is ruled by the astrological sign Libra, which rules the seventh house of cooperation and love. Saturn is in the sign of Libra until 2012.

The 11th house in Astrology is Aquarius with traits of humanitarian, wisdom, inventive, rebellious, unconventional. Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus which represents, sudden turns, rebellion, independence, invention, surprises, liberation, disruption, and awakening.
Historically every 2600 years we change astrology signs. 2012 marks the shift out of Pisces into Aquarius. During this last 2600 reign we have read or experienced chaos and break down of all structures that do not serve the whole.
For certain we are living in exciting times, all of us are noticing that something is happening. Collectively we are experiencing a major shift in consciousness, as we witness chaos and a break down in all aspects of life, especially in our own lives. All we can know for sure or do something about is what is happening at a personal level in our lives and respond accordingly.
